Italian Ambassador to Iran visited Shiraz University of Technology

Italian Ambassador to Iran Mr.‎ Giuseppe Perrone visited Shiraz University of Technology (SUT) on Thursday morning, 9 December 2021, and met with chancellor of the university Prof.‎ Mohammad Mehdi Alavianmehr.‎ The meeting was attended by the Head of Economic and Commercial Section of Italian Embassy, Mr.‎ David Balloni, and the Head of Cultural Section, Ms.‎ Yaroslava Romanova, vice-chancellor for academic affairs, vice-chancellor for research and innovation, head of chancellor’s office, head of international and scientific relations office and representatives of SUT research centers.‎

The two sides discussed opportunities for academic cooperation between Shiraz University of Technology and Italian universities and expressed their interest to increase scientific collaborations such as exchanging scientific and technical experiences
